It has been open for a little while, but it's members haven't been able to get on, so I am restarting it. So welcome to One Mile.	One Mile. The bell rings and they're off. The pack of horses thunders down the stretch, their coats colors a blur as the race neck and neck. You horse has broken late and is struggling to regain ground. The jockey is urging the filly on and she is giving all she has, but is it too early? The sweat is visible as the round they first turn but she is gaining, inch by inch she fights for the lead. The thunder of hooves is just barely heard over the roar of the crowd as the pack turns onto the home stretch, but you can feel what your horse is going through. Her sides are heaving as she sucks in the air needed to pump her blood, ears flatten and she makes her move. No urging is needed, as she speeds up her already tremendous stride, she's in the mode, the mode to win. Her jockey is now just a passenger as she flies past one, two, three horses. Now it's the final 100 yards, and she is still gaining steadily on the leader who is visibly tiring. Finally you breathe easy as your filly streaks under the wire a nose ahead of other horse. She won, from last to first, your horse won. Wouldn't it be great to feel the excitement of winning a race, feeling the wind on your face as you shake your hand in the sky declaring victory, well now you can One Mile is a horse racing RPG where you can race, train, and breed thoroughbreds, quarter horses, paints, and arabians. Basic Rules

*Please keep cussing to a minimum. A few swear word here and there is fine, but no "Mother F***, D*** H*** P***, I hate you you little SH**" The thread will be deleted and you will be banned for 3 days if I see this happening. There is NO WARNING for this.
*Respect everyone. We all have our differences, and you have to
respect that. If someone isn't as good of an RPer as you, don't be rude to them and refuse to RP with them. You will be punished for this.

*NO porn. We don't want to see that stuff! Go to a porn site if you must, but don't bring that gross stuff here. You will be banned forever if you do this.

* A SIM year is three months, so every three months your people/horses will age, unless you can PM showgirl with a good reason why they shouldn't.

*You may only have 4 characters. That's a lot, people! Please keep them all on one account, but use a different color for each of your characters when you post or something, or include an avatar with a picture in each of your posts, so we know which one your are posting with.

*Your posts must be at least 1 paragraph(5 good sentences) long. If it is less, you will get a warning. 3 warnings and the thread is deleted and you get banned for 3 days. This is an intermediate-advanced RPG(The password to join is runaway)! no

" The horse was lathered in sweat as he cross the finish line, three lengths ahead of the pack, his breathing was hard and labored, but he held his head high. I screamed with excitment as I rushed down to the winner's circle, my face was flushed with joy. "Oh, Noname, you won buddy," I shouted out," patting his foamy neck. The horse bowed his head, finely shaped ears pricked towards me, he knew he had done well, and for that I was happy.
Much better, right?

People Rules

*They must be bewteen the ages of 14-20 when you join them. If they are UNDER 16 they need to come with parents (parents don't count towards your total charrie count)

* Displays of affection ARE limited NO PORN or SEX. If you do anything like that you will be banned forever from this site with no warning! A kiss is ok but nothing else!

* Each person starts with $100,000,000 unless they are under 16, then the "parents" decide what to spend to money on.

* You may find a job by looking in the "Jobs Wanted" board. Barn owners looking for stable hands or people searching for trainers etc pm me so that I may put an ad up.

* You also may live with some one if you wish, like you can live with a stable owner if they say its okay, most of those houses have a extra house.

* You ARE allowed to give birth more than once, but you MUST PM Showgirl if your charrie is going to give birth.

* People must RP out their own horses, because I find if you are waiting for the "horse" to respond sometimes they don't and the your stuck.

* You MAY have FOUR horses to start off with or you may gradually create the ten.

* Every month you will be granted 2 horse credits which means you will be able to create 2 horses each month, may be hoarded up for more usage.

Horse Rules

* Only domesticated horses allowed.

* No horses over 18 hands will be accepted, unless you pm showgirl with a good reason why you want a horse over 18 hands high.

* Stallions can only breed 7 times a SIM year.

* Mares can be bred 5 times a SIM year, even though this isn't very realistic, who really wants to wait for the foal to be "born"? So mares are pregnant for two weeks then they can foal, but make sure that you have the vet there or you will get slammed with expenses.

* This is a human/horse RPG, so none of the horses are wild and free and can have herds etc.

* Horses CAN be sold again after bough by their new owner, and ALSO CAN be traded off, just like in real life. When this happens you may no longer RP that horse because you sold it to another player. I'm sorry but it would happen in real life, after selling a horse you wouldn't get to be with them any more.

Racing Rules

* There are 9 different levels of horse racing: maiden, class A, class B, class C, class D, group1, group2, group1 national, group1 international.

* EVERY horse starts at Maiden race level, and cannot move up until they have run a race. A horse doesn't move from level to level automatically, it has to be officially announced by me.

* Any horses that join, cannot have raced before, otherwise it is unfair. All the races for now will be maiden races, until we have enough horses to start on each level. ( Whoops I lied the password is really ireadrules)There must be at least 3 horses in a race, or it won't run. The only exception of this is for G1 Int. level horses, who specifically ask for a head-to-head race.

Also as we know, each race horse HAS to be trained by a certified racehorse trainer. Now, as it is in real life, racehorse training is an ongoing training until the horse is retired from racing. At the moment, the only certified trainers are:

Money and Billing

* Everyone starts out with $10,000,000.00

* You MUST post the amount of money you make and the amount of money you spend in the area for Banking

* Keep your withdraws and incomes different colors

Ex. Starting Money- Green
Earned Money- Blue
Spent Money- Red
New Total- Black

* Make all checks out like this:

Name: (your charries name)
Amount: (how much)
To: (to however you giving the check to)
Memo: (what the check is for, ex. Horses, feed)

* Everything has price so watch out for it. There will be prices listed everywhere so you may want to commit the check form to memory! I won’t be mad if you get the form wrong just try to get it looking like that above.
